The project Extra-Ordinari will take place over the course of the 2025-26 season at La Virreina – Centre de la Imatge.
Following is the provisional calendar of activities:
1st session
Presentation of the project with the participation of various voices who will give their testimonies as teachers in higher arts education.
2nd session
A conversation between two authors on precarious labour and other social conditions of academic and cultural work, focusing on the world of literature.
3rd session
Presentation by Terra Poirier of her artist book project Non-Regular: Precarious academic labour at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, followed by a participative workshop led by the artist with the aim of exploring how mentorship and mutual aid might sustainably support creative practices.
